Opinion:

Something the people of Nostr need to do better in 2026 is really showing love and support (through follows & zaps) when folks with big accounts on the legacy socials make accounts here.

It's these people's presence that will bring the broader audiences to the freedom protocol. The reason why so many normies create an account and only stay a few days is because all they see is a foreign set of accounts to follow (especially if they're not into bitcoin); so it feels unfamiliar/uncomfortable for them.

The easy solution is to always follow and zap the big names, even if you don't know or care about them. (The bonus is that you may grow to like them - especially as they'll be feeling full freedom of speech for the first time in their content creation career!)

Nostr needs to be easier to use with better onboarding tools. No creators big name or otherwise are going to put up with half the nonsense currently required to get an npub online let alone receiving zaps.

I almost never see you in any of my feeds in Primal anymore. This is from another client (monstr) where you appear immediately on the trend page. Shadow banning and as you say, boosting (maybe unintentionally) devs and BTC maxi's completely rejects normie's and big accounts from other platforms.
