In this core vs. knots battle, I’m firmly in the “keep spam out of Bitcoin” camp. One thing that @Laser pointed out is that Luke is the only contributor to Knots. It’s a point I haven’t heard addressed by the knots supporters.

Has anyone addressed this? Is this something to worry about running the knots node? #asknostr

I think as long as Knots is open-source it shouldn't be too concerning.

I also don’t like the idea that Knots is a one-man-team , but I think now is more about sending a signal to Core and “voting” for whether you think btc is a monetary system or just a database for whatever
