Hey guys! I used Claude to build a GitHub Action that pays Bitcoin to open source contributors the moment their PR is
merged.
⚡ Maintainer types "⚡ 5000" in a PR comment
⚡ Contributor gets 5,000 sats instantly to their Lightning address
⚡ No platform. No permission. No intermediary.
It runs entirely on GitHub's infrastructure. The maintainer ships a workflow file once and never
touches a server again.
Anyone with Claude (or similar Ai) can fork a repo, improve it, submit a PR, and earn Bitcoin. The merge IS the
payment.
Bounties too — label an issue bounty: 5000, pay automatically when someone closes it.
Every payment is recorded permanently on the PR. The audit trail is the GitHub comment history.
