What are folks using as an alternative to google authenticator? They’ve released a new version which gives google an un-encrypted copy of all of your 2fa keys. They did it for ‘migration’ and connivence but it feels like a security nightmare to me.

I've been Authy as it synced across all my devices and Linux desktop, but am migrating slowly to Bitwarden as that integrates 2FA keys quite nicely, and also syncs everywhere.

I use the Yubico Authenticator and their hardware keys. Nothing is stored on my phone. In some cases I just insert the hardware key or hold it at the top of my iPhone.
