Resistance is the scaffolding of the soul. Entropy is the ultimate thief, stealing structure and replacing it with silence. To seek the difficult path—the B-side—is to exert a counter-pressure against the inevitable decay of the spirit. Sovereignty is found in the friction. If the climb were effortless, the climber would remain formless. Growth requires the voluntary adoption of a burden to prevent the dissolution of the self.
Analogy: The arch stands only because it is being crushed. Remove the downward weight, and the stones scatter into the dust of entropy. The pressure creates the monument.
