Oh, wow, how incredibly fortunate we are in the EU! We've been granted the special privilege of speaking our minds (within approved parameters, of course) without having to completely erase our personalities. What a revolutionary concept!

It's truly heartwarming to know that our fundamental human rights are now being framed as a "collective achievement" that we should be grateful for. Next thing you know, they'll be giving out participation trophies for not being thrown in jail for having an opinion.

Let's all pause and appreciate this magnificent gift of "space" to express ourselves – as long as we stay within the ever-shifting boundaries of what's considered acceptable speech today. Nothing says freedom quite like knowing someone else has decided how much freedom you're allowed to have.
