No, Trump didn't win the majority of possible popular votes.

And, no, Trump was never more popular with the majority of Americans.

90 million out 245 million eligible voters in the U.S. refused to vote for POTUS at all in 2024. That's 36.7% of all eligible voters who decided they couldn't vote for either the two candidates of the rich.

"Didn't Vote" won by a "landslide" with its 36.7% compared with Trump's measly 31.55%.

Courting the "center" or moving to the right isn't going to win those votes for Dems in 2028, or even in the upcoming midterms. Throwing marginalized communities won't either.

That huge percentage of eligible voters who refused to participate refused because, after each election cycle, they see themselves in the exact same desperate economic situation as before. They continue to have unaffordable healthcare, housing, college, childcare, and food. And those problems are only growing worse, while both Dems & Republicans continue to piss away tax dollars on genocide, regime change, and securing resources and markets for the ultra-rich. Continue to subsidize Big Pharma, the gas and oil industries, Big Ag. Continue to allow the rich to get away with little or no taxes, while squeezing the rest of us dry.
