Simplex had to use a shitcoin for their decentralized governance/fundraising because of Bitcoins limited program ability. Drivechains would have prevented them and most of the entire altcoin ecosystem from leaving BTC. BTC could have underpinned it all.

What you write is nonsense. 1) we didn't use/plan/issue shitcoins at all, and don't plan to. 2) equity crowdfunding is for the stake in the company, not any token.
