I've never been more intellectually challenged in my life. AI has taken over all the "simple" tasks such as waiting for tests and fixing failures, dealing with dependencies, writing documentation, ... And I get to deal with the more complex stuff way more often than before.

Wrong by which standards? I can accomplish most things at work using Claude, thinking decidedly less than before for the simple fact that thinking properly about technical issues is becoming less relevant. It works anyways in the end

idk. Its like using gps rather than remmebering directions and using a map. Cognitive load is less so we drop IQ points.
