King Arthur online sells sourdough starter. Highly recommend their San Francisco starter. Been using it for years - also love their flour.

The bread looks beautiful. But same, killed my starter too. making a simple sensor to measure the temperature, rise and alert me to feed it accordingly. Hopefully that works.

Still good. I don't do sourdough from scratch either. Made a loaf of olive bread a couple days ago. Same recipe as plain bread but with chopped olives mixed in.
