Thank you for reading and I appreciate it. In response to your qsn, my personal take is that political participation should be looked at a strategy for buying time and slowing the advance of tyranny. Your average local politico doesn't work for you or answer to you in the real sense. He answers to the party first which answers to the donor class and lobbyists. Yes there are exceptions to this rule but those are extremely rare and even then, they can still be "democratically removed" (eg Massie's primary)

If you look at the Iran war for example, most Americans were against it but it happened anyway. Most Americans were not for lockdowns, but it happened anyway. I could go on, so the question for you is this, do you want to focus your attention on solving problems and finding solutions that actually make you more free or do you just want to tread water? In summary I am saying, the better long term plan is to focus on solutions that preserve your freedom, if you can use the political processes to slow down tyrants in the meantime do so but don't put your eggs in that basket. Hope that helps
