While accidents (almost by definition) are to some extent random... the structural causes (from social context to the lived environment) actually skew people's actual propensity to die in an accident.
New data suggests people in the North East are most likely to die in an accident while the population in London is least likely.
However, the highest level of accidental deaths is in Blackpool, an area of heightened depravation....
