If you download an update manually, verify it yourself before installing. Follow the verification instructions linked from our download page. Downloading a file alone does not establish its authenticity.

Limit the funds you keep on your computer.

Keep only what you need for active trading in your Bisq wallet. Move your savings to a secure cold-storage setup, such as a properly configured hardware wallet.
