I just need to vent and say that having a very large baby makes everything 10x harder. I’m in a knee brace, back brace, neck pain and headaches. He’s so strong to wrestle with for diapers, when he pulls my hair; yes, yes, I know I need to workout and strengthen my body but to that I say WITH WHAT TIME AND ENERGY??? Point is I can’t wait until he learns to hang on to me/walk and when he’s older he’ll be carrying ME. Rant over. Back to cleaning.

Wait until they are a toddler and you have to chase them with shoes.

People say you'll look back and miss these days, but it's not true. I don't miss those days. For my kids the days I look back and really miss were approximately ages 2-4. Don't worry though, it's all about that proof of work with the little ones that makes those years the actual best.

How physical parenthood is took me by complete surprise. I genuinely don't know how unfit people do it!

Consider making the 5 Tibetan Rites for Immortality a daily practice. Those 5 sets of 20 movements can be done anywhere with no equipment in 7-10 minutes. They're designed as self mobilization techniques for the hips, shoulders, neck, and waist. https://youtu.be/j_bY6REpIPE?si=XoK_apHZWYTXFmQ_ The...

I sympathise! Mine is 14 mo and weighs 30 pounds, the entire right side of my body feels like a 79 year old; bad knee, bad hip, bad elbow from carrying this small man. He’s just started walking thankfully, but that means I now have to bend down to hold his hand all the time! 😅

Motherhood is amazing, but it's also challenging in all sorts of ways that we wouldn't expect. 🫂

The good thing about a big baby (mine was 9lbs 3 oz) is they are strong and not so breakable. You don't have to be so careful holding their neck. You don't have to be so careful with everything. It is like starting with a 1 month old. Yes the big babies are stronger, but that can be a benefit.

Feeling you! They grow way too fast. Do your best to look after you and love every moment, even the messy ones. One day you'll blink and he'll be a teenager (for real) 💛🧡💜
