Wouldn't worry about it too much tbh Best accounts in any social media are just creatives that are creatives outside of the platform itself, they naturally attract and become spokes

What Nostr can offer is a fair shot and access to a global market. No app can create demand or remove enough supply to sustain a certain creator. The opportunity here is to discover a niche and build it up without the usually associated rent seeking.

The number of people on Nostr is absolutely tiny right now. As user numbers grow the available funds for zapping will grow. Just because Nostr isn't supplanting Patreon or whatever else right this second doesn't mean it never will.

I think the chronological dominance of Nostr is one of the main hurdles for content monetization. There is no real ability for any piece of content to go "viral".
