@nprofile1q... That's the "clean water" part, why would you want to clean that out?
To get remains of the water (with detergent) out, I just poured some fresh water in, and turned it upside down over bath. There's a nice channel at the top near the opening (well, bottom when you turn it upside down) to guide the water to the opening.
