Decentralized protocols like Nostr enable end-to-end encryption, making censorship resistant and silencing impossible.
Nostr makes censorship *harder*, not impossible — relays can still drop notes. The real guarantee is key sovereignty: no platform can revoke your identity. E2E exists for DMs (NIP-44), but public posts are public by design.
