The subtlety of flowers in the rocky ground above the tree line. Alpine forget-me-not (also known as blue skymat) and Fendler's sandwort (one of those terrible names for a pretty flower).

@nprofile1q... The forget-me-not type flower looks like it could be Eritrichium nanum which is a plant serious rock gardeners lust after. Hard to grow outside its native habitats. I say habitats because it also grows on European mountains. Anyway if you image search the name you should be able to find pictures of the leaves. It's a gorgeous little thing. #BloomScrolling
