What do you think of the idea that sleep is a high energy state and that you need some sugars before bed to avoid low blood sugars that wake you up in the middle of the night? I may have that all wrong, but i thought i had read that a few times from peaters?

It's valid. If your liver can't hold much glycogen, providing sugar into the evening and through the night, then adding some gentle energy will help. Liver health should also be examined. Taurine can help. Increasing glycine. Perhaps NAC or glutathione is needed. Worth getting labs to evaluate why...
