@nprofile1q... That sort of makes sense though. When you multiply two decimal expansions you can form a rectangle that you then sum along the diagonals, with carry, and some caveats about you handle 3 x .3333... because the carry propagates infinitely far. That rectangle can be thought of as a tensor product.
