You are certainly right about that! At least, not from a major studio. I was wondering this weekend, if there are sites/services dedicated to current independent, or "no budget" films. I bet that's where the new storytellers are able to get their works out. The major players aren't interested in that anymore. Well ... the new version of Shogun is really impressive. I've only seen maybe ~5-10 titles made in the last 15 years that are worth watching.
