Prusa would be a solid choice. For minimal investment, find a used prusa mini for around $200. If your willing to commit funds, get a core1 . alternatively, consider sovol. Open source ,good printers at a competitive price

Real shame how bambu has turned out. I was against them at first. Then I gave in when they were proven to be the best. Then it became clear my first instinct was right. I can no longer recommended them to beginners like I did for the past 2 years.

Prusa. I have the CORE One and it’s been fantastic! Very strong community around that brand as well.
