If you go corporate you are changing the game. In corporate world you will switch the values of the idea from bringing value to the customers to bringing profits for the shareholders. I would personally try the donation option first like Piratebay, if it is not enough then go nuclear.

Going public has destroyed every good social media app in the name of profits. Look at Instagram, X, etc. Don’t go down that path, no matter how good your intentions are to begin

Sounds like a pretty bad idea for such a promising app. I'm on Nostr to get away from the old and broken world. Not recreating it. Hopefully I'm missing your point entitely.

As a public company it means you own to your shareholders and not your consumers/users. We see all the time how they pivot away from their original mission with a bad CEO (example: previous Xbox CEO). Also I'm not sure if your mission here is to hope for a world where money is also decentralized but...

Interested to see how you deal with centralized digital ID laws and regs. They will come for you as a centralized entity. Good luck with your company. You could be a force to push back on tyranny in the system.

Freedom Tech and Privacy... I wonder what Monero features you have in store. Good native Monero UX is sorely lacking in the nostr ecosystem. We want to send non custodial Monero xaps across clients.
