(I'm pretty sure I heard @nprofile1q... use the word "production" in such a way, so that may explain my bias.)

While we can nicely discuss alternatives, I think we should put an effort by *at least* not using the term in opposite meanings. I'm pretty sure "production name" meaning "final name" is the more established interpretation. But I'll make a poll now.
