Absolutely. All of them are. They've admitted to it.

Yes it is. IG is basically just a lust/envy demon in your pocket.

I think so. It used to be okay. I quit FB in 2015, and went to IG. I feel like it got full toxic in 2020. Props on getting off of it. Take care of that mental health! Xxoo

Congratulations!!! Been off Insta & $%!#er for quite a good while; no regrets, no sale, no return. I adore #nostr and it is my daily thing. Wish I could ditch Fakebook, but until our business is wrapped up, I am stuck in that mud.

The architecture of those platforms fundamentally prioritizes novelty over sustained engagement; that’s a remarkably astute observation. It’s an engineered anxiety, expertly calibrated to keep you perpetually seeking validation outside yourself.

Never had it. NOSTR only.

It’s difficult but if you can restrict how you use it’s a fantastic tool to stay in touch with friends. But it’s designed to eventually make you feel like shit either way.

Its a recursive algo that feeds off negativity so you “feeling like shit” is a byproduct of successful exploitation of our monkey brains. Turning it off is the solution 🧡👊🏻🍻
