On February 1, 2026, a youth basketball game for second graders at Holy Child School in Rosemont, Pennsylvania, escalated into a physical altercation that led to the arrest of Brittany Ortiz, a Gender Critical YouTuber who goes by the name of "A Slightly Twisted Female!" Ortiz is a 38-year-old assistant coach from Malvern, and her father, William Stanley, 70, of Paoli. The incident occurred after a verbal dispute during the game over Ortiz's shouting and cursing from the sidelines, which reportedly sparked an argument with the opposing team's coach, William Radel.
After the game, the argument continued in the gym hallway between Ortiz, Stanley, Radel, and Radel’s wife, Tiffany Kalman. According to court documents and witness statements, Ortiz grabbed Kalman by the hair and slammed her to the ground, causing her head to strike the tile floor. Kalman suffered a concussion, scalp contusion, and lost clumps of hair. As Radel attempted to intervene while holding his 3-year-old daughter, Stanley allegedly struck him in the head, and Ortiz attempted to kick Radel in the groin, hitting his inner thigh. The young girl became hysterical, urinated on herself, and sustained a leg bruise."
Brittany was charged with assault on a sports official, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, disorderly conduct, and harassment. She was released on $10,000 unsecured bail, with a preliminary hearing scheduled for March 5, 2026. Stanley also faces related charges and later surrendered to authorities. His attorney, Nathan J. Schadler, claims Stanley is innocent, was hospitalized with broken ribs and a head injury, and that his family called 911.
