What's your favourite static web page builder? Something that takes some form of markup language and splits out some HTML. Nothing fancy, I just really really need to get my (read-only) web page/blog ...

@nprofile1q... I went from Hugo to NextJS to Astro and my website was dead because it was too much friction using any of them.

The thing that made me put random stuff out very occasionally is writing raw HTML by hand or use markdown and just pipe it through powershell to generate HTML.

Slap a header/footer and do some formatting and voila.

I was actually thinking about checking out pandoc 🤔.

Why are you looking for alternatives if it works?
