Minivan is the best for 7 seats cost wise (SUVs are cray exp) but worst image. Our church buys older Ford transit Vans for 12-15
and older Kia Sedona’s have worked well but stay the fck away from full electric (EV) vans (I cannot stress this enough) and i have zero experience with hybrids but have heard decent things. I have a huge gripe with newer tech that saves ypu money on fuel and adds extraordinary coats to maintenance with a huge net negative.
(FWIW, I was in retail automotive for 13 years but not since 2019)
