Jesus Christ posed a threat to the established order, and Jesus Christ would have been crucified under any government—past, present, or future.

I suppose most people only know about Jesus Christ what they’ve been taught in school and by the corrupt institutions that make up the various churches.

In my case, I came to the New Testament while reading about crypto-anarchism and realized that many were believers and were inspired by the figure of Jesus; that led me to reread the New Testament from a different perspective.

Paul Rosenberg himself stated that the Bible is the most anarchist book he has ever read, though I only partially agree because in this case I am considering only the New Testament.

So, ultimately, for me, Jesus was the first anarchist—someone who fought against the establishment, someone who prioritized dignity and honor over money, who lived and died for others.

I’ll also tell you not to look for a typical believer in me because I’m not one; I’m totally against any authority, religious or political. I have my own customs, my own ideas, and my own beliefs.

Lol. You are not original. If you believe in Christ, then you are a Christian. Whether you want it to be true or not.

But... Jesus is The King. So... "Anarchist" is not the best descriptor. Heh If you'll read about the idiot Israelites whining for a human king, you'll realize that the OT is pretty much the same story since it is THE story.

"Strong parallel—radical truth-tellers always destabilize systems, whether religious or political. Reminds me of how Germany just ruled out military action against Iran despite escalating tensions; sometimes non-confrontation is the bigger threat to power. The article frames it as strategic restra...

Interesting take. I used to have nationalist views in my early 20s. In my early 30s I was learning about libertarianism and started despising the state. Eventually I got disappointed in libertarians and now in my late 30s I’m strongly aligned with anarcho-capitalism. I always despised socialists b...

You're probably NOT reading the old testament right: - 1 Samuel 8:10–18: The text explicitly states that if the people demand a king, "he will take your sons... and some shall run before his chariots," and "ye shall be his servants," concluding that "the LORD will not hear you in that day." - Je...
