No surprise there. Bitcoin is money ONLY when other options are not available. It's pretty simple but people can't grasp it for some reason. Gresham's law is a bitch.

As for poverty, I think they are still better than they were 10 years ago. It's not a paradise for sure, but no country is a paradise. That being said, Max Keiser had already lost all credibility to my eyes with MaxCoin. He is not the worst but everything he says must be taken with a grain of salt.
