Thank you for your compliment but even your point on persons in the EU, but I totally understand how the system is built legally and what I think @nprofile1q...'s larger point is that the foundation of those laws is flawed thus the laws themselves are contradictory to natural laws of property rights and self ownership.
Further to that I'm also adding and saying, if there is no such as euro bytes it becomes illogical for data to be regulated on the basis of my data's point of origin or where I am physically. This is where you then start to be penalised for self custodying bitcoin because the underlying assumption which GDPR has set is that, because you are domiciled in the EU your wallet (more accurately signing device) is also subject to EU regulations when it's interacting with a Blockchain/database in cyberspace which isn't in the EU. It's no different from trying to apply EU law in international waters.
