Real men of nostr, question:

Does the urinal code of conduct change if said urinals have privacy dividers between them?

Given a row of open urinals with dividers, would it be considered weird to pull-up and park right next to the only other urinal being occupied?

Not as weird, but still kinda weird, if every other station is empty and some dude pulls beside you.

No. Like gas in a container, all molecular male units shall always homogeneously diffuse throughout the bathroom in the most high entropy configuration possible.

The weirdness quotient varies based on the total number of urinals, time and location etc. If you’re in an airport bathroom with 50 urinals at 2:47 am and you rock a piss right next to the only occupied pisser, this could be interpreted as an overt act of weirdness.

No. Dividers improve comfort but fall short of justifying a change to the urinal code of conduct.

Does the urinal code apply if there is dookie in one?

Urinal code still applies. Personally I leave vacant urinals and wait if there are no dividers unless it is a very crowded long line situation. Full occupancy is acceptable with dividers and no line.
