They're very direct competition. Mstr wants you to buy their stock or for you to give them your dollars and they promise to handle bitcoin's volatility and give you some of the gains from it.

Xxi wants wants you to buy their stock, or to lend them your Bitcoin so that they can give you Fiat and they can the fee.

Up until this point, Jack was acting as a mostly private CEO. But now it's public and at the end of the day they're both trying to get more Bitcoin. It is better for Jack and for 21. If you don't hold assets with mstr or strc because they can offer you more services. This goes the other way too. Not saying you should do one or the other. I just think the days of unfiltered. Jack with no conflicts of interest, maybe behind us

Yep, There's a few measures of debt

Current Snapshot (as of ~Q1/Q2 2026)Total gross debt: ~$39 trillion.
US nominal GDP: Roughly $31–32+ trillion (trailing 12 months).
Gross debt/GDP: ~122%.
Debt held by the public: Approaching or just over 100% of GDP, with CBO projecting it rising to ~120% by 2036 under current policies (driven by entitlements, interest costs now over $1T/year, and persistent deficits).
