when my app is ready and less buggy, yes, it will be on zapstore.

Different app catalogs are coming.

I want to have an "Alpha Mail" one so bad, that is basically just a place for users to come together around an inbox of alpha/beta apps to test them 😉.

That way w can have the default professional Zapstore catalog (community) for newcomers to Zapstore, but us tester-boyz can add/browse other ones like "Alpha Mail" too and target our MVP apps there too.

Mmm, I find almost all profiles by default on the vertex relay now. That says nothing about the profile's relay(s).

I get what you say. And I also obviously need that 10002 (or similar event that isn't assuming outbox model) asap.

Yeah, but why doesn't the profile metadata reference that directly? It's the first thing you need to know about a profile in practice. Because of sync issues or something?

So many!

- App events with Nostr repositories referenced.
- Profile metadata that can reference a Community definition event for that Community profile.
- Profile metadata that can reference a Bot definition event for that Bot profile.
- Membership list that references a Form event for requesting to be member.

All of these cannot just use the already taken a/e tags and would need other tags or ways of distinguishing. None of them need default indexing by relays.

yep, since you publish them and can construct them as you see fit. the problem is that cashu is opt-in and, to be honest, a huge can of worms in terms of UX and ruggability. tradeoffs.

True. But LN is at least as big a can of worms. And it's opt-in too. And the current LN Nostr adoption is basically nothing, in terms of momentum to build on for ambitious projects. Plus, being :90percent: centralized anyway, while requiring you to have an extra identifier and UX mess etc....

I need zaps:
- in any currency
- that can be queried by root kind
- that are just one event by the user profile (with possible other events behind it for proof verification)
- that can have A/E tags etc...

there are no references to replacable events, I don't know why, reference are r tags

zaps are published by the LNURL server and afaict the tags that get copied from request to receipt are e,a,p & P. we'd need server copying every one-letter tag to the receipt for that to happen.

Cashu zaps makes this easier then.
While also allowing for EUR and Dollar zaps. Even LLM-compute credit zaps, lol.

Gotta be honest and find that more attractive to work with.
