They can't afford things because Trump started a war he had no business waging for a foreign country that isn't our problem, and now that war caused a shipping crisis that is making everything too expensive. He also resolved absolutely none of the election issues he complained about in 2020 (they are real, btw, but he clearly doesn't care).
