Bitshala is at the Open Source Hub Bitcoin Asia Conference 2026 in Hong Kong 🇭🇰🟠

Every serious movement eventually faces the same question: Who will carry the knowledge forward?

Bitcoin is no different. Understanding the protocol, reading the code, learning its tools, and developing the patience to work in open source takes time.

That work begins long before the code is written.

For the last few years, Bitshala is actively trying to build that path in south-east Asia.

What began with Bitcoin education grew into study cohorts, technical discussions, contributors, projects, mentors, and a community willing to spend time understanding Bitcoin from first principles.

These images capture different parts of that journey: people learning together, explaining ideas, presenting their work, and taking their first steps into open-source contribution.

The goal was never simply to teach people about Bitcoin, it was to help create people capable of building it.

Great conversations at “Why is BTC Known as Internet Money?” in Hadapsar, Pune (22-Aug-2026)🚀

We explored Bitcoin beyond the usual narrative, and one question stood out:

What is Bitcoin’s use case if we completely trust our governments?

A thoughtful discussion on adversarial engineering, trust minimization, and why Bitcoin is native internet money.

Thanks to everyone who joined 🙌

Sometimes I dream of a money that doesn't need a checkpoint to cross a border, but here we can't even trust the roads. ✨ Sharing raw updates & our personal story from Gaza on my pinned note. https://i.postimg.cc/1zv9VTqN/altqaaat.png
