How to have a law degree yet by highly juvenile.

Peter Thiel is driving with his friends far more aggressively than necessary like a racetrack.

His driving eventually attracts the attention of the California Highway Patrol, and he is pulled over.

When the officer asks if he knows how fast he was going, the others in the car feel a mix of relief and anxiety, glad the reckless driving has stopped but nervous about the consequences. Thiel, however, remains completely calm and composed.

Instead of answering directly, he questions the very idea of speed limits, suggesting they might not make sense as a concept.

He goes further, framing speed limits as a potential violation of personal freedom and even hinting that they could be unconstitutional.

The officer is left silent.

The Houthis are the OGs of this game. For over a year they ran hundreds of different shipping interdiction experiments at the Bab-Al-Mandab. Iranian and Chinese ships watched everything. So Iran now has warehouses full of tricks to stop ships from breaking its rules at Hormuz. Many of these warehouses lie under vast granite mountains that cannot be destroyed even by nukes, scattered among hundreds of thousands of square kilometers of such terrain. They can be endlessly resupplied from Russia and China, via Iran's friends Azerbaijan and Tajikistan.

As the Houthis join the Iran war, a look at the oil tanker situation around the Red Sea and critical Bab al-Mandab Strait from https://nitter.poast.org/MarineTraffic.

Dozens of tankers have rerouted to the Saudi oil port of Yanbu (highlighted), with dozens more transiting the waterway.

We aren't living in the 20th century any more. Military technology has fundamentally changed, and winning strategies are changing along with it. Iran, whether backed by Russia or China or both, readily wins any lengthy missile vs. anti-missile war of attrition. No military or combination of militaries on earth have any realistic power to protect ships that break Iran's rules.

You sound like an America-hating Zionist grasping at straws. Chinese society is highly antisemitic. There is no religious group like Christian Zionists in China to support you. They are partnering with your arch-foe Iran in a win/win relationship at Hormuz: China supplies intelligence and weapons parts for Iran to use defending itself against Israel etc., and Iran requires Gulf oil purchasers to pay in Chinese yuan.

You will have to relegate your world-wrecking fantasies to going off into the desert and pounding sand.

This is a silly list. The official decision-maker was the Commander-in-Chief. If you don't think Trump was actually the decision-maker, then we have huge constitutional problems problems that the silly list doesn't help solve. And everybody in the administration who hadn't resigned and publicly objected while the unprovoked and devastatingly foolish war on Iran was being planned shares responsibility.
