I think we have the low-hanging fruit of people who will be interested for either technical or ideological reasons. but for the vast swathes of normies, fiat is always going to work better. until they are made to care about either inflation, privacy, or censorship resistance, you literally can’t build anything superior, as judged by criteria they care about.

I don’t mean this to be too doomery. I still think we win in the end and of course all this stuff ought to be built to facilitate victory. I’m just trying to be realistic about *how* we win.
