I tried amethyst and I'm not a fan, it was so buggy.
My following feed was full of bots I don't even follow with no way to remove them except individually muting each one.
Everything took ages to load and when I tried to upload the app crashed every time.

Farmers market or something similar is probably a better idea than leasing a shopfront.
If you have local traffic going past your property and you have the space to set a stand up selling directly from your own property would probably be a good idea as well, but that depends on where you live and if your community is high trust.
