#TwoWeeks Challenge: The Winners! π¨
I'm back from the cruise, I've reviewed every submission, and I've tested what I could. You all shipped while I was on a ship :P I love dad jokes almost as much as I love all of you :) Here are the winners:
ποΈ Community Building: The Communitator
One of the biggest onboarding pains in Nostr is configuring relays, Blossom servers, and DM relays. The Communitator lets community admins package all of that into one shareable link that members apply with a single signature. It solves a real problem for every community running its own infrastructure.

π User Growth: Livelier.live
A free, open-source bridge that helps self-hosted live streamers get found the moment they go live. It bridges streams onto Nostr as NIP-53 live events with two-way live chat, discovery happens on the directory, viewing happens on the streamer's own server. Exactly the kind of bridge tool that makes people go "wait, what app is that?"

π° Sustainable Revenue: No winner
Nobody built real monetization. This says something real about where the ecosystem's energy is right now. I still think it's important to build something sustainable, but for now those sats have been awarded to the above projects. π
β Honorable Mentions
β’ Newlay: a Buzz-compatible relay in pure Kotlin that even runs on Android. The project predates the challenge so it can't take a category, but the two-week push (Buzz compatibility, git, issues, DMs, cordn coordinator) is the most serious engineering in the whole stack. Watch this one. β
https://code.relay.tools/opensauce/newlayβ’ PosterChan AI: a self-hosted personal cloud + AI powerhouse running entirely on Nostr events: notes, calendar, files, mail, local LLMs, autonomous bots. Pre-existing project that shipped a new feature during the window. If you want to escape Big Cloud entirely, bookmark this. β
https://github.com/loblawbob873-svg/posterchanaiβ’ Funkwhale Nostrified (stritchtunes): Nostrified music library sharing. I literally predicted someone would build the indie musician thing. I did not predict it would be this. β
https://stritchtunes.shakespeare.wtfβ’ Opossum Wire: a Pyramid relay deployment powering a real local community in the Shenandoah Valley, with a long-term vision of community-owned relays and even offline/LoRa experiments. Existing software, beautifully deployed. β
https://houreconomy.org/opossumwireThank you to everyone who shipped something these two weeks. This is how Nostr grows, not by a CEO, not by a company, but by builders. Keep shipping! π£
