I wasted an hour this morning trying to set up a moltbot that would post on my behalf on X. Still need to work through some bugs on how it’s passing the API tokens, but an unfortunate side effect was that I got to read the X timeline for the first time in weeks

I went through the regular setup and only gave it access to one folder on my computer. I'm planning to have it run through all my expense receipts from last year and produce a clean output that I can use to file taxes, but I could already do that with 10% more effort using cursor + filesystem MCP. Trying to figure out if there's some magic that I'm missing

What is the wildest and most useful thing it’s enabled you to build that was not possible with slightly more effort using a patchwork of existing tools (MCP, tool calls, etc)
