Sourdough discard banana pancakes
Recipe
Combine:
Some sourdough discard
A banana or two
Same number of eggs as bananas
About that much salt
Hit it with the stick blender
Then add:
Enough flour to give the consistency you want
Cook:
Preferably in burnt butter
Makes:
A few pancakes 🥞

Yes you can make mustard at home!
Simply soak mustard seeds in vinegar or beer for 2 days at a 2:1 liquid to seeds ratio, add a little salt and hit it with the stick blender.
Mustard greens are really easy to grow and as a bonus tbey act as a pest trap for the bug that like to eat broccoli and cabbage so for my southerm hemisphere friends its mustard planting time right now.
Time to have a go at growing and making your own mustard.
Ill be adding a little honey to this batch to sweeten it up a bit.
