Yeah, but why doesn't the profile metadata reference that directly? It's the first thing you need to know about a profile in practice. Because of sync issues or something? #noob asking questions here.

I have been extremely disappointed with nostr lately. I dont think there's a future here anytime soon. Atleast not on the "social" part.

The protocol is still great and serves freedom, and I'll still be building on it. But i dont think anyone who's building on the social parts has the right incentives anymore.

The whole things has been sidetracked with AI.
