Now that Friendica 2026.01 is out I should probably change the Bookface repository to reflect this, but I'm not sure what the preferred way of doing that is.

Presently both the "main" and "stable" branches are targeting Friendica 2024.12. What I need to do is replace the contents of those branches with what is in the "2025.07-rc" branch. Do I MERGE "2025.07-rc" into "main"/"stable"? Do I REBASE "main"/"stable" on "2025.07-rc"? Do I delete "stable" and create a new one based on "2025.07-rc"?

I've already created a "2024.12" branch with the current "stable" in it as an archive, but going forward I don't really plan to keep developing Bookface for that version of Friendica now that 2026.01 is out. I'm also not planning to continue working on the Bookface "userstyles" version.
