@nprofile1q... Meiling x Krizalid ship art is by far one of the most common ones you see. She borrowed his iconic circular wind kick projectile in the original 2hu fighting game.

It also spawns a bunch of fun palette swap OCs that exist somewhere on the scale of "Character borrowing another characters/otherwise unrelated gimmick for themselves". Len edits, like @nprofile1q... 's favorite Red Len, are some of the more common, but there are also a lot built off things like the old 2hu fighter, Melty Blood, and KOF's sprites as well.

Long and short to say it's very fun watching simple ideas be made into MUGEN characters trying to capture a vision without having to reinvent the wheel animating something new, in turn bleed back into fan art of those characters trying to capture the visions their creators brought into existence.

QRTing this to continue a tangent elsewhere because I'm not trying to hijack Exodite's thread, but MUGEN is the ultimate spawner of unusual crossover fanart. Like ﾅｷﾞ's collection of art here.
