@nprofile1q... yea I could call ahead and ask, but they'll look the part up beforehand and see people want $400 for them new and want over $100 on something that should be $50 max. If I just pull it myself and say yea it's just a speed sensor they'll give it to me for $20. Last junkyard i went to every rear axle was taken out of every car I needed it from. Cant get lucky sometimes

@nprofile1q... the only time I ever buy car parts on ebay is if its some obscure, expensive when new, or not sold new part, like my turbocharger. I got a reman turbo cartridge for $200, an interior switch for $40.
But then I get shit like this. I NEED this part.
I cant find it used on Facebook marketplace or ebay. I have to drive upwards of 100 miles to go to a junkyard and pray they have one that isnt broken.

@nprofile1q... usually when I place the rare amazon order, they give me a free prime trial so I get free shipping anyway. As soon as I order I go and cancel it (convoluted btw, takes like 12 clicks to do)

@nprofile1q... yea you get next day shipping with Amazon. You could give me a $500 amazon gift card right now and I wouldn't know how to spend it. There's nothing on that website I want. Ebay on the other hand I can think of a hundred things id buy with that. Amazon is just garbage products and the only thing id order on there is stuff I can get at a physical store.

I lock my card when I am not using it, you cannot do this when you purchase something on amazon. Ebay charges your card as soon as you press the order button. I've had amazon not try to charge me until 3 days after I pressed the order button. This caused the order to be further delayed because it was declined due to my locked card. Why the fuck do they do this?
I ended up driving 30 minutes to a best buy and just buying the GPU for cheaper than amazon.

Stop using amazon. Take the ebay-pill.
You'll find more things you actually want/need on ebay.
Not only for a better price, but you are more directly supporting an individual or small business than if you bought it on amazon.
Most of my online purchases are on ebay. I buy mainly camera stuff and car parts.
Amazon is mostly fucking garbage. There's hidden/deceptive fees, a monthly subscription.
None of that on ebay and you can talk directly to the seller. fuck amazon
