Oh, my bad, I temporarily forgot you don't read ahadith or practice tradition as a Sunni. You follow the Qurani Madhab. So if I talk about the seerah and hadith, you don't have a frame of reference. Do you at least read tafsir? Do you know the fiqh of the major medahab? If I mention the fatawa of Imam Al Ghazali, or Abu Hanifa, would you know who I'm talking about? How about the Battle of Al Jamal? How do you even pray with Qur'an only? The circumstances of each ayah are known, and found in the hadiths, how do you read the context when it isn't in the Qur'an, such as the mandate of the khimar? The war verses? The ayahs about when it is permissible to Kill one's own parents or children that was revealed after Abu Ubayda killed his father at Badr?

Okay, so, I have an issue, I do believe that Jesus is the Son of God (metaphorically or spiritually speaking), but is not the biological son of God. So we're clear.

The trinity does make sense, and it answers some issues, but it is not clearly described in the Bible anywhere and constitutes an innovation.

The majority opinion is the acceptance of trinitarian doctrine. However, that is not found in the scripture as such. I'm by no means Sola Scriptura, but that is still an awfully sus thing to innovate.

But I am also not a Muslim anymore, and reject the notion that Muhammad was a legitimate prophet because of Quranic contradictions and immoral decrees. And the very human nature of the morality reflecting the 7th century Arab mindset.

I think that my regretted decision to become muslim was because of the issue with not being able to find a church that considered this issue seriously. And again, I find myself in the same predicament.
