NGU isn’t what it used to be and right now it’s dead in the water as a selling point for new adoption. You could’ve DCA’d into more traditional things in recent years and also done very well relatively. I’m done with every other leading selling point except “Bitcoin destroys governments.”

Yea that’s true too. Except my initial point: nobody gives a shit about Bitcoin as a SoV, inflation hedge, debasement trade, etc (whatever you want to call it) either because NGU has been a failure in recent years.

I’m just commenting on where the current narrative is for new adoption on all fronts: in the gutter.

Goliath can learn too. The last big print woke up too many to the problem. Goliath has to be aware of that. If I were them, I’d slow and steady print to avoid spooking the masses, while still bleeding them.

NGU as part of our thesis is in the absolute gutter right now.

Nobody gives a shit about freedom money. If they do, they’re clearly buying gold and silver instead.

Payments? “My card works flawlessly every time, why would I ever switch?” Stablecoins are being shoved down everyone’s throats.

Nobody gives a shit or has time to care about the properties of money and credit. “Ludwig von who? Menger? Sounds fake and gay. I’m yoloing into more Palantir and Elon stonks because they get unlimited military funding now.”

They won’t care until they have to, until rule of law starts breaking down in the west, US states secede, assets start getting seized in size, and inflation becomes too farcical to even pretend to ignore.

I’m not selling for any fake fiat assets. Maybe in a few decades when the demonetization is over and equities holders are suicidal with PE’s in the low single digits. For now, hodling Bitcoin isn’t and doesn’t have to be a “trade” - no, hodling is a moral imperative to starve the State, which will ultimately usher in a more humane and fair world than governments have made before.
