I haven't played the base game in awhile, but I think there's one more big map section after the snow area. I think the map after the snow area is the big ass tree area with the city and that part is pretty sweet. Everybody complains about the Melania boss but the area leading up to it is super fun and it's probably the most fun place to invade people because there's a lot of verticality to sneak up on people. I think you will be fine to do the DLC if you are that far. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Ah yeah I forgot you gotta do Mogh to get into it, I remember that one bleed attack he does is annoying. I played the shit out of that game when it came out, then I played it again shortly before the DLC came out so I had a character prepped for NG+ that I could use to just jump into the DLC. The DLC is really hard at first, it takes a bit of finding these branch items to level up your gear to do any real damage. There's a separate upgrade material just for the DLC so you can enter it from different points in the base game and it scales properly. It's pretty cool though.

Shadow of the Erdtree was fun. I actually just got the Elden Ring Nightreign game since it was on sale. I can't tell if I like it yet or not. It's kinda cool but it's very weird. I don't usually play multiplayer games but it's kind of cool as a cooperative thing.

I haven't seen Star Trek since Voyager. I did see the first remake/reboot movie in 2009, but at least that one had Leonard Nimoy return as future Spock or whatever... So it kinda felt like it existed in the same universe as the old school films. I dropped off after that one.
