You forgot Platonism, Hermeticism, Pythagoreanism, Stoicism, etc. OT/Torah Judaism only came about roughly 150 BCE during the Hasmonean dynasty when Judeans were already thoroughly Hellenised (eg. Philo of Alexandria). Christinanity amplified the effect given that all the early church fathers were also Platonists and fully immersed in Hellenic culture, myths and philosophy. None of those religions, nor Islame, would have a theology to speak of were it not for heavily plagiarising from the Hellenic and later Roman Pagan traditions.

Well part of the issue is that for 6 months of the year everything outside is frozen. So it's cost prohibitive to install infrastructure that would function year round, especially when my presence is temporary. To be honest, while there are some challenges particularly when it comes to house keeping, I got used to it and it's really not a big deal. It's just part of my routines now. Sometimes learning to make due with 150 year old technology is good for you. Most people these days would literally drop dead inside 2 weeks if the power went out.

You're talking to someone who's septic system is a 5 gallon bucket and a shovel... The poor man's composting toilet. Not because I want to avoid it, but because no sources of running water nearby other than the wash tub in my neighbour's cold cellar and a jug I carry back and forth ever couple days.

In the rural area I live in many of the older homes have a roof fed cistern built into the foundation, typically in the basement inside the heated envelope of the building.

It's useful if you don't have an aquifer accessible (eg. live on bedrock, next to a nestle facility, data centre, etc), or if your property has different elevations and you want a system that doesn't require a pump (ie. because it's gravity fed).

You can buy pvc tanks in various sizes too. They're usually black to prevent algae growth. A lot of folks I know just use a bunch of ibc totes stacked together, because they're cheap and readily available.

Zelensky spelled out some of this (in Russian) during one of his comedy routines. It's pretty funny to me to see all these self-proclaimed "antifascist" leftoids with Ukraine flags in their bio bleating "Slava Ukraini!" which was popularised as a fascist slogan during and after WW2. You can't get much more retarded than that.

The conflict was an attempt by the US primarily to cock block Russia's supply of oil to EU, and prevent Russia from cashing in on the largest untapped deposits of LNG and shale gas in Europe (ie. Crimean coast & Donbas respectively), largely so they could replace Russia as the supplier (Canada too). Plus a bunch of other stuff like agricultural land (now owned largely by Blackrock), rare earth minerals, etc. The CIA (and MI6, BND, etc) has been logistically supporting actual Nazis and fascists in Ukraine since the 1940's (Project Aerodynamic) for the express purpose of being an arms length proxy army against Russia. The pretext of Ukrainian nationalism (which is legit fascism) was just the wool pulled over the eyes of the gullible. Business as usual.
